Joi reframes daily planning as one continuous flow, not a collection of disconnected apps. Instead of juggling a calendar, a to-do manager, and a habit tracker, Joi merges them into a single timeline where events, tasks, and routines coexist naturally.
The result is a planner designed for distracted minds—quiet, logical, and genuinely supportive—helping users see their day as one cohesive story rather than scattered fragments.

Visual Language & Motion

The app’s aesthetic leans into calm minimalism: soft greys, spacious layouts, and a crisp sans-serif typography that echoes iOS system design. Each entry—task, event, or habit—appears as a clean block within the vertical timeline, sliding into view with gentle spring animations.
Color accents are subtle and deliberate: blues for calendar items, warm neutrals for tasks, and tiny pops of color for habits. Micro-interactions feel invisible yet helpful—swipe gestures glide smoothly, while long-press actions reveal secondary controls without clutter.

UX & Performance

By integrating directly with Apple Calendar and Reminders, Joi avoids redundant complexity. Everything updates live, tasks sync instantly, and habits build streaks that blend naturally into the day.
The interaction model is deliberately frictionless: add items with a tap, edit inline, drag to reorder, or mark complete with a single swipe. The interface stays lightweight even with large schedules, and transitions honor reduce motion for accessibility. Exporting a full history via CSV adds a pragmatic layer for users who track long-term patterns.
